Why Colour Contrast Matters
Approximately 8% of men and 0.5% of women have some form of colour vision deficiency. Low-contrast text is difficult or impossible to read for users with visual impairments, in bright sunlight, or on poor-quality screens. Accessible colour choices improve readability for everyone.
