Understanding Roof Pitch
Roof pitch is the angle of the roof slope. In the UK, most residential roofs fall between 25 and 45 degrees. Low-pitch roofs below 20 degrees generally require specialist waterproofing membranes rather than tiles. Very steep roofs above 45 degrees are unusual in UK residential construction.
